Oceanic Pearl is by all accounts a gentleman’s yacht. Originally built in Portugal in 1972 she was later fitted out as a luxury motor cruiser in the famous Malehide boat yards in Ireland before crossing the Indian Ocean to Australia.

Refitted in 2009 for chartering, she now offers the option of 3 or 6 night cruises around the Whitsunday Islands. The heavy displacement hull and high bulwarks make her a stable and comfortable cruising vessel.

With her classic warm timber panelling and brass fittings this 23 meter motor yacht offers comfortable cruising for 10 guests and 3 crew. There is a choice of accommodation in double and twin staterooms, one single and one double cabin. Staterooms have individual air-conditioning with large en-suites whilst the two cabins share bathroom facilities. The warm and inviting interior light is made possible by skylight hatches and portholes in each stateroom and cabin.

The charming lounge area offers a warm ambiance for dining or alternatively relax over a casual alfresco lunch or barbeque on the top deck whilst enjoying the spectacular views of the Whitsunday islands.

The itinerary is flexible and allows plenty of time for relaxing on board, beachcombing on uninhabited islands and snorkelling through amazing coral reefs. You will also have the opportunity to do some island walks where you can visit ancient aboriginal rock art. There will also be opportunities during the cruises to try your hand at reef fishing.
